Oz the Great and Powerful

Oz the Great and Powerful is a great movie.  It is about how the land of Oz got their wonderful wizard.  It is full of magic and adventure!  It includes things that were not put in the Wonderful Wizard of Oz movie that was in the book, like the China Town.

It has a lot of action at the beginning and end but is a little slow in the middle.  It is really cool and funny I suggest you watch it! FIVE STARS!!!!!!!

Watt Pad

Watt Pad is an app for apple products that you can read and write on.  They have stories about every thing.  they have stories on video games, famous people, t.v. shows, anything!!!!! It is very easy to use, but it needs wifi...   I suggest you get this app.  :)

Gravity Falls

Gravity falls is a Disney show about 2 siblings that get dropped of at Gravity Falls, Oregon (NOT REAL!). and discover a lot of hidden secrets...

Mable is a "silly" 12 year old girl.

Dipper is a 12 year old boy that has a book about Gravity Falls secrets.

 

Stan is Dipper and Mables "Gruncle."

They have new episodes on Fridays (not every Friday I haven't figured out the schedule.) They have not made a new one in a while so I don't know what the deal is.

Pocket Planes

Pocket Planes is a cool 5 star app that you get to direct planes and buy air ports. I got really addicted to this app right away.  Did you know it was originally going to be pocket trains?    There are thunderstorms and tropical storms then other stuff to block you from flying to places. 


The best thing is ITS FREE!!!

Kansas City Day 2

Today I went to the Kansas city Sea Life Aquarium and it was really cool.  I rate it 5 stars.  I would go back it was awesome

I went Lego Land in Kansas City, MO, here are some pictures of my 1st day. I went to Lego land.

LEGO: Minecraft Micro World

I'm doing a review on LEGO Minecraft Micro World.  I got it because I really like Minecraft and LEGO.  I got it from the official Minecraft website.  It took about a half hour to build with two people and it is "intermediate" LEGO builders!!!  I give it 5 stars.

It is really cool and here are some pictures!

My Summer

I did a lot this summer....

This summer I went to Six Flags, Waplehorst water park, and I also went to Cuba, Mo.  At Six Flags I rode every roller coaster there!!!  My favorite roller coaster was The Ninja because there is no line!!!  I went on 2 float trip's with my family once, then with my friend Kyle's family.

I did a lot of activities with my Grandma and cousin.  I paddle boarded & kayaked at Creve Couer Lake.  We went to the RecPlex and we also ice skated.

I played soft ball again this year and got two winning hits!!!

I had a sleep over with my friend Cassidy and we had a bonfire and made s'mores.

I read poems and went to the new Spencer library and fished with my grandpa.

I went to the movies and saw Ice age 4 and Madagascar 3.

I saw the St. Louis Cardinals play in a cool Room that had food and a private balcony!!!

I swam a lot with friends at Waplehorst.  I also went to go see my aunt's band play.

This summer was great and I'm looking forward to next summer.

Chinese Lantern Festival

I went to the Chinese Lantern Festival Saturday August the 4th.  I was really fun.  There are acrobats, sand drawings, and lots of lanterns!  5 stars!!!   Here are some pictures of them!!!

St.Charles Community College Summer Camp for Kids

I give it 10 stars!!!  If you like the hunger games go to the Hunger Games Theater Camp! If you like Chemistry go to Test Tubes and Beakers Camp.  If you like Cooking go to the Cup Cake Wars Camp!  There are camps for almost every thing!   You do crafts, games, theater games and more!  The councilors are nice, there food is great, they even have recess!!!  I went to the Cup Cake Wars, Hunger Games and Lights, Camera,  Action camps.
 
In the Cup Cake Wars camp you get to decorate cupcakes.  In the Lights, Camera, Action camp you learn how to direct and edit movies.  The Hunger Games Camp is great because it is fun and you can create your character. 

I would recommend going to these camps.

Brave

Brave is a movie where a girl named Merida wants to change her fate.  Her mom is the queen.  Her dad is the King and her three brothers, which are triplets and younger are the princes.  Merida and her mom got in a fight one day.  Merida took off for the woods and saw whisps, a  magical creature, and followed them to a witch's house, which gave her a magic cake to change her mother.  She fed it to her mom and it changed her...into a bear.  Her dad wanted revenge on a bear named Mor'du. Merida and her mom escaped the castle and went into the woods.  Her dad went out to search for the bear thinking it was the one he wanted revenge on.  Her mom and her went on a adventure and found the bad bear and realized it was Mor'du, a selfish king that got turned into a bear.  They escaped from Mor'du and went back to the castle.  Her dad saw her mom as a bear and thought it was Mor'du. He gathered his kingdom and tried to kill her.  Merida fought her dad and tried to convince him that was her mom.  Mor'du showed up and tried to kill Merida. Her mom fought Mor'du.  After a small battle Mor'du got crushed and killed by a piller.  Merida thought her mom's spell didn't break but after a few minutes of crying and wanting her back, her mom turned back into herself and they both appreciated each other of who they were.

Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted

Madagascar 3 is really funny, entertaining, and colorful! Alex is a lion.  Gloria is a hippo.  Melmen is a giraffe.  Marty is a zebra.  Mort, King Julien, and Maurice are all lemurs. Skipper, Rico, Kwalski, and Private are penguins.  The group is still in Africa and ready to come home to New York.  The Penguins  and monkeys take the plane they fixed to go to a casino in Europe but they said as they were taking off that they were never coming back. So Alex, Gloria, Marty, Melmen, and the lemurs snorkeled to Europe.  They tried to sneak into the casino but they got caught and animal patrol is on there trail.  They join the circus and hope to get a tour of the U.S. After a while the circus animals find out that they were from the zoo when the said they were from a circus. So the Zoo friends left the circus when they got to New York.  The zoo caught Alex, Marty, Gloria, and Melmen and put them in secure cages. The friends did not like the zoo any more.  The lemurs told the circus animals what happened to them.  Then the circus animals rescued them and the zoo animals joined the circus.

My favorite part was when King Julien fell off a building and Maurice smiled but frowned when he landed on the penguin's plane.

Final review of the YMCA

I am back to give my final review of the YMCA soccer camp.  So we learned a few new games.  A few of the games were electric current, head or catch, and freeze soccer. Electric current is when there is two equal lines that the 1st person squeezes the 2nd person's hand and so on.  Then, the last person runs up and kicks the soccer ball.  The 1st one who gets the soccer ball wins.  My final review of the YMCA is... 2. We started playing soccer a little bit more and did a few fun games and that's what bumped it up to a 2.  I would not do this camp again.

This was my first day of soccer camp.  Right now if I could rate the YMCA soccer camp in stars, this is what I would give it, 1. Why, you ask? Well, first of all you go swimming and then you change... in front of ALL of the girls and counselors. It would have been nice if they would of let us use the changing room.  You also only play soccer two hours out of seven.  You play "Da Ga," a game where you use your hands to knock the ball into other people hard to get them out.            

So, my mom taught me how to change in privately in front of other people.

Lyndell Institute of Tae Kwan Doe

Want to learn Tae Kwan Do? The best place to go is Lyndell Institute.  The instructors are nice, no physical contact, you can also buy a water for only one dollar!!!  They make you learn the fun way! We play tae kwan do ball which you use different techniques to hit the ball and run around the bases.  I've only been going for two years and I'm already a green belt!!!  It is really nice because the changing rooms are clean, nice, and neat!  The students are nice and always want to learn!!  If you want to learn more go to...
